The image on the right shows a product wound to be used as an output transformer. The image that looks like a copper plate is not an actual copper plate; it is a view of a 0.3mm coil winding. The precision is so high that it creates the illusion of copper tape being wrapped around it. To all Apollon Audio listeners, we would like to emphasize that Apollon Audio’s current technology, which has reached the pinnacle of ultimate sound performance, is not the result of a single factor but a comprehensive achievement of integrated technologies.
We manufacture transformers by controlling the dynamic relationship between the direction of the magnetic field and the flow of current as it affects sound. Every step of development is based on measurement data, with extensive time dedicated to listening tests. Transformers are developed through a tournament-style process, and the selection of all components has been conducted in the same manner for nearly 40 years. This process is a game of obsession and passion for listening tests beyond imagination, a unique secret of Apollon alone, and the result of a tournament game that has remained undisclosed for over 37 years. The product below is a 600W high-capacity power transformer.

Let's take a look at how transformer vibrations are controlled when installing a large-capacity transformer within the limited space of an audio case. A clearance of 8mm is maintained so that no part of the transformer directly contacts the audio case. This gap is sufficient to block the transformer's vibrations. Check out how this spacing method effectively controls the core's vibrations.
Apollo Audio’s power transformers are designed and manufactured with a structure completely independent from the audio case. In other words, although the power transformer is located inside the audio case, it is developed with a separated power supply structure to minimize the adverse effects of magnetic fields.
Pay attention to the thickness of the core frame. It features a specially processed frame that is a full 3mm thick, incorporating hidden technologies that effectively control the vibrations of large-capacity transformers. These innovations culminated in the product’s comprehensive launch in 2019.
